My grandkids love my 4Borg ....but it is too slow ...and the 9v battery lasts only 20 minutes. Are there changes I can make to run at faster speeds ...and can I use the 10AA battery pack to allow the 4Borg to run at least an hour between charges.
The easiest way to get 4Borg to run for longer would be to add additional 9V batteries in parallel to the main one.
Each additional 9V should give an extra 20 minutes approximately.
Unfortunately it is not really possible to get more speed from a 4Borg.
The motors used are only rated for 6V, which they are already run at.
While you can apply more voltage to the motors it will significantly shorten their life.
You could use a 10 AA battery pack instead of the 9V battery if you want.
You would need to edit the .py script files to do this.
Look for this line:
voltageIn = 8.4
and change it to read:
voltageIn = 10 * 1.2
If you do change the battery pack or add more 9V batteries be careful to make sure they are all connected the correct way around!
