Raspberry PI to Canada

Hey there,

Im interested in buying a picoborg to try and create a fedpet raspberry pi project and have a few questions.

Im located in Canada, how long does it usually take to ship? im going to need it latest in the next 3 weeks.

Is it hard to wire to a motor? I don't have much experience with wiring and circuitry, but if I have a decent set of instructions to follow (and youtube) I should be fine.

Are there any example projects from anyone that has made a fedpet system?

Cheers and thanks for your help
Kai

Typically shipping to Canada takes 6 to 8 working days (Monday to Friday).

Wiring the motor will require you to solder the connections to the PicoBorg itself.
This is not too difficult, but it can be daunting for those who have not done any soldering before.

The motor will need to be a 5 or 6 wire stepper like this one: 5v Stepper motor.
You will also need some solder and a soldering iron to be able to do the soldering.

We did used to have a built example, but it was dismantled quite a while ago.
As far as I can remember we never wrote any kind of assembly tutorial unfortunately.
