Help with wiring picoborg for 4 relays

I am new to the whole build your own robot thing and am having troubles understanding your forward and reverse option for the PiCy.

Am I to use a breakout board / bread board to link the four relays into the picoborg?

Say for instance I am trying to figure out how to attach 4 wires to one slot in the picoborg for things like, ground, power etc..

There are a few ways you can do this:

  1. Solder multiple wires to each other to form a star type connection, this would be the ideal way but requires a soldering iron
  2. Use something like a breadboard to connect the wires to each other, this will however require a separate board
  3. Strip the insulator from the ends of the wires and twist them together instead of soldering, is is the easiest way but the least effective. If you do this be sure to cover the exposed wires with something like electrical tape to prevent them touching each other!
