Monsterborg voltage monitor

Where and what are the values should I set for 3S lipo battery (11.1V norminal, 12.6V full) so that the battery monitor LED is of the correct status? Currently on full charge it is showing yellow instead of green.

To get the best colour range you should set the values as follows.

The minimum should be set to the lowest value the battery will be used at. For a 3S LiPo this will be the fully discharged level, which is 9V.

The minimum should be set to the highest value the battery will be used at. For a 3S LiPo this will be the fully charged level, which is 12.6V.

This should mean that the LED will show bright green when your LiPo is at the absolute maximum voltage, and bright red when it is time to disconnect the LiPo and recharge it. It should show yellow when the LiPo is at its nominal voltage, which is half way between the two.

The battery monitor is most accurate when the MonsterBorg is not moving. Whilst moving the voltage will dip a little, when changing speed it will dip a fair bit. This is quite normal and happens with almost all battery types. When the LED shows red continuously even when stopped the LiPo is probably flat and you should stop using it until recharged.
