Thunderborg + hats

Hi there!

I've decided to upgrade my diddyborg with more servos than an ultraborg can support, so I want to add the adafruit 16 channel pwm hat (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2327) on top of my pi. This leads to a few unknowns for a noob like me:
I had planned to simply solder the thunderborg wires to appropriate breakouts on the pwm board. Since my thunderborg supplies the power to the Pi, It's unclear to me if it is safe to power the pi via the 5V breakouts on this board? I am especially concerned because there are two 5V pins and previous reading led me to believe that pin 2 was the pin to power the pi, but I don't know which pin the 5V breakouts are connected to. I figure 3.3V, SDA and SCL are intended to be shared?
Furthermore, it would be nice to be able to use a single power supply, so i had intended to use an UBEC between my battery pack and the hat's power input. Does this sound like something that can work?

Thanks for a great product!

The ThunderBorg supplies 5V power on both pin 2 and pin 4. You should be able to connect either of these to the 5.0V breakout holes for powering the Raspberry Pi.

The other four connections (3.3V, SDA, SCL, GND) can all be shared by both the ThunderBorg and the Adafruit board.

Using a UBEC to power the hat's servo power connector sounds like a good plan :) You can connect the UBEC and the ThunderBorg to the same battery pack without any problems.
