Stepper Motor
Forums:
Hi,
I have used the stepper motor that you sell, and it is just on the brink of not being powerful enough for what I need. I see a lot of 4 wire stepper motors available but am wondering if the chipset on the picoborg will not support a 4 wire stepper motor? I am new to this and am wondering if it is possible.. If it is, could you suggest a more powerful stepper?I was looking at this one: http://www.adafruit.com/products/324#Description
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Stepper motors
Unfortunately PicoBorg is only capable of driving a 5/6 wire stepper motor.
Looking for steppers can be a bit tricky, this one might do the trick:

Basically you want one with a lower resistance than the one you have, which is 50 Ohms.
The link above is for one which is 15 Ohms, therefore it should be a fair bit more powerful.
