I have recently been able to connect the sixaxis controller to the pi and can see that they are connected. Does anyone have or know of any software i can use on the GUI to see what button does what?

PS3 controller with the Raspberry Pi

many Linux distros offer jstest-gtk, a graphical joystick test application. Not much help for the original poster but ....
