Hello,

I was wondering if you could release a parts list and schematic for the DoodleBorg so I could look into making one? I cannot figure out what I need to make a base model of this bot.

DoodleBorg was a one-off prototype built to demonstrate how powerful our motor control boards actually are.

The basic parts list consists of:

  • 6x mini ATX wheels and tyres
  • 6x steel axles made by taking standard mini ATX axles and shortening them
  • 6x 350W scooter motors
  • 6x sprockets for each axle
  • 6x chains made to the correct length
  • 12x bearings to hold axles in place
  • 2x laser cut 6mm steel plates for the top and bottom
  • 10x metal posts for uprights
  • 1x tow ball for the top
  • 2x 12v motorcycle batteries
  • 3x Diablo motor controller
  • 4x EPO switches
  • 1x custom built remote EPO switch
  • 3x automotive relays for EPO cut-off
  • 1x Raspberry Pi
  • 1x BattBorg

Most of this we got from hunting around eBay, the rest we either make or had custom built for us.
