Thunderborg shorted?

Hi guys

After using my Thunderborg motorcontroller for a couple of months, it has suddenly stopped working. During some tests, my hole system suddenly completely shut down. After some troubleshooting I discovered that it was the Thundeborg that took all the power. If I try to power the Thunderborg up as standalone, it just drains the power completely. When connecting the Thundeborg, my powersupply drops from 28 volts to approx. 0.7 volts. The LED does not turn on.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Morten

That sounds bad, possibly a dead component or damaged board...

Were there any motors attached to the ThunderBorg when you tried it standalone?

If you can take some photos of the top and bottom of the board we can take a look and see if we can spot any faults.

No, there were no motors attached, during standalone test.
I attached a couple of pictures, but I see no burned components.

Having had a look at the images we cannot spot anything wrong either.

I think the best option is if you send the board back to us for further investigation and we send you out a replacement. Do you know what your order number was?
